This site is a tribute to David Leathers, who was born in Woodland, California on February 27, 1951.

As many of you know on the afternoon of January 18, 2016, our dad David William Leathers passed away at home surrounded by family. Dad, 64 years young was battling colon cancer for over 8 months. He first was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and after being diagnosed, he went through chemotherapy and some holistic treatment he lost his fight. 

Our dad loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Anyone who knew him I am sure can recall him planting a yearly garden filled with fruits and vegetables but most people’s favorite was his big beautiful sunflowers. One thing I can say about our dad is he loved his children and grandchildren more than words can explain. He always welcomed our friends as his own. Dad had wonderful stories that would quiet a loud room because everyone wanted to hear it.

We cannot thank everyone enough for the generous outpouring of support and loving words you have sent. It is in these moments, when you see people from all over come together to help and remember an amazing man.

Dad is loved and will always be remembered.
